Sanitary Pad Drive

A friend of mine – Peace Yashim – contacted me last week about her project for orphans and I completely forgot about it until just now. The campaign is about providing sanitary pads for orphans in Jos, Plateau state, Nigeria. I saw that it was a credible idea and something I would love to partner with her on. It is a big project and we need your help. Here is a summary of the project.

One sanitary pad retails at ₦450. While many girls and women can afford this, orphans at the Clapai Orphanage in Zarazon village, Jos East, Plateau state, CANNOT. This is why a group of friends started the #SanitaryPadDrive initiative to see how they can help these girls.
There are 150 girls at the orphanage. If each girl is provided with just one pad every month for the next year, it will cost ₦5400 per girl and ₦810,000 for all 150. This is where we need your help.
You can make donations to this campaign using the following information;
